Surrey Hills Coffee Guildford Uk

"A must for the coffee connoisseur"

We came across this fabulous little cafe while searching for an independent coffee / cafe. Surrey Hills Coffee, Artisan coffee roastery. Chapel st Guildford
As devoted coffee connoisseurs, the coffee the barista served us was absolutely the best, we have had in some time. Well roasted beans with that perfect kick of strength without being burnt and smoothly steamed milk. We had a slice each of their orange cake, which was mouth watering. The deli focuses on fresh healthy treats, which catered for all, sweet tooth, savory tooth, gluten free, dairy free and sugar free tastes.

This place is definitely worth a return visit.

Dominique Ansel Bakery

HAVE YOU EVER TASTED A CRONUT.

On visiting England, my London family insisted on taking us to visit Dominique Ansel Bakery for their infamous cronut. I had read of some one who tried to get one in New York but not successful. A Cronus is a cross between a croissant and a Doughnut.
All I can say is that my first Cronut experience was delightful, It was amazingly scrumptious. I found each bite was as delicious as the first, crunchy with good body. The serving size is generous and definitely worth the wait, no wonder this bakery is very popular.
The bakery/cafe is modern and very tidy with good seating arrangements. Along with our Cronut, we had coffee, which was very smooth and creamy with a hint of chocolate after taste. Well worth the visit.

The Yard Kitchen. Brunswick Rd Penrith Cumbria UK

What a delightful place for a lunch/coffee break. Located on Brunswick Rd  alongside Morrisons Food Market. On arrival we were made very welcome by friendly helpful staff. The interior is rustic-industrial with a good range of comfortable seating in three different rooms upstairs. Including sofas and chairs in front of a log fire, very relaxing. There is also a tidy alfresco area. The cakes are fresh and quite mouth watering made on site, the coffee is from a local boutique supplier. We were very impressed and will visit again.

Shape Chippy Cafe/Restaurant. Main Street Shape Cumbria

This popular, multi award winning, Fish & Chip Cafe-Restaurant is a total surprise to find, in Shape, a small village in Cumbria. Quality fish & chips, home made fish cakes, local Cumberland sausage, their own smoked food - halloumi fritters, haddock and Smokey Joe sausages.  We found the dishes we ordered were all excellent, the service could not be faulted, the table layout was good, and we were made to feel comfortable and welcome. The location of Shap Chippy is in the heart of Shap village, which is on the coast to coast route, on the A6 between Penrith and Kendal and just off the junction 39 of the M6. For the five of us we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant, all agreed will return.

CafeTroppo Whitmore Square Adelaide SA

We returned to Cafe Troppo this morning, our last visit was in 2014. The Cafe is still as popular as our last visit. The menus are very good and varied to cater for most tastes. The seating options are comfortable, with outside tables on the footpath. The service was friendly and efficient. I must admit on our last visit we  thought the coffee was excellent, but today the coffee was right up there with the best. If we lived closer this would become our Cafe of choice. Must return more often when in this area.

Original Food Co, Bakery, Gawler St Mt Barker South Australi

The Original Food Company Bakery, next door to the Red Cross Charity Store, Gawler St MtBarker. This bakery, has just won another award, Best Meat Pie in the Hills, we were not surprised. If you consider your self a pie gastronome this is the place, the range of fresh baked choices are excellent, through to a cabinet displaying mouth watering cakes. Lunch time is busy, but we have found the staff very helpful and friendly. There is a good range of seating options inside and outside along the foot path. The coffee is nice and smooth with a pleasant lingering after taste. News papers are provided for your leisure as you relax over a pleasant lunch.

Utzi Cafe Burnside Village Adelaide SA

Being regular visitors to the Utzi Cafe situated in the Burnside Village, shopping complex, Portrush Rd. We found this Cafe has recently changed owners, which to our mind is an improvement. The seating options, are very well arranged, all done out with white tables, comfortable chairs that are white with black backs. The counter is a white granite with black service areas, all creating a clean tidy modern appearance. We enjoyed a very nice coffee, along with a delicious snack while in the centre shopping. The service was excellent, with a well organised service team enabling you to be attended to with out a long wait. Due to the location being in the centre of the shopping area, across from Coles, this cafe is very busy. But we could not fault the service or food options. The coffee was smooth warm, with a pleasant lingering after taste. Well worth the visit. Good Coffee, free papers, & WiFi.
