K.alm Cafe, Tunsgate Guildford UK

What a delightful venue for a coffee and a lunch. We stopped in and found so many mouth watering options we were spoilt for taste. Guildford is just packed with so many lovely Cafe's to choose from. This cafe was very busy at lunch time when we were there, but the service was great. The seating was comfortable with a great ambience. Good choice for us, will call back.

Taylor's Coffee House The Market Walk Woking UK

For the best Hole in The wall coffee on the go, Woking, maybe UK, make a stop, you will not be disappointed.

Taylor's Coffee House. It is located in the busy Woking Market Lane. This Is a boutique Hole in the Wall style cafe, designed and catering to the high foot traffic, where most of the customers just want a coffee as they walk past shopping. The owner of Taylor's Coffee House is very discerning when it comes to roasters and baristas. With much passion and experience he has sourced a local speciality coffee roaster, who produces excellent sourced Colombian coffee. In Woking and West  Byfleet this is our place of preference for a coffee.

Surrey Hills Coffee Guildford Uk

"A must for the coffee connoisseur"

We came across this fabulous little cafe while searching for an independent coffee / cafe. Surrey Hills Coffee, Artisan coffee roastery. Chapel st Guildford
As devoted coffee connoisseurs, the coffee the barista served us was absolutely the best, we have had in some time. Well roasted beans with that perfect kick of strength without being burnt and smoothly steamed milk. We had a slice each of their orange cake, which was mouth watering. The deli focuses on fresh healthy treats, which catered for all, sweet tooth, savory tooth, gluten free, dairy free and sugar free tastes.

This place is definitely worth a return visit.

Dominique Ansel Bakery

HAVE YOU EVER TASTED A CRONUT.

On visiting England, my London family insisted on taking us to visit Dominique Ansel Bakery for their infamous cronut. I had read of some one who tried to get one in New York but not successful. A Cronus is a cross between a croissant and a Doughnut.
All I can say is that my first Cronut experience was delightful, It was amazingly scrumptious. I found each bite was as delicious as the first, crunchy with good body. The serving size is generous and definitely worth the wait, no wonder this bakery is very popular.
The bakery/cafe is modern and very tidy with good seating arrangements. Along with our Cronut, we had coffee, which was very smooth and creamy with a hint of chocolate after taste. Well worth the visit.

The Yard Kitchen. Brunswick Rd Penrith Cumbria UK

What a delightful place for a lunch/coffee break. Located on Brunswick Rd  alongside Morrisons Food Market. On arrival we were made very welcome by friendly helpful staff. The interior is rustic-industrial with a good range of comfortable seating in three different rooms upstairs. Including sofas and chairs in front of a log fire, very relaxing. There is also a tidy alfresco area. The cakes are fresh and quite mouth watering made on site, the coffee is from a local boutique supplier. We were very impressed and will visit again.

Shape Chippy Cafe/Restaurant. Main Street Shape Cumbria

This popular, multi award winning, Fish & Chip Cafe-Restaurant is a total surprise to find, in Shape, a small village in Cumbria. Quality fish & chips, home made fish cakes, local Cumberland sausage, their own smoked food - halloumi fritters, haddock and Smokey Joe sausages.  We found the dishes we ordered were all excellent, the service could not be faulted, the table layout was good, and we were made to feel comfortable and welcome. The location of Shap Chippy is in the heart of Shap village, which is on the coast to coast route, on the A6 between Penrith and Kendal and just off the junction 39 of the M6. For the five of us we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant, all agreed will return.
