At Soane’s request, the house has been left untouched since his death – almost 180 years ago. This home is so different from any thing I have seen, filled with his exceptional collection of famous art works, sculptures, furniture and collectable artefacts, is quite beyond belief. Sir John Soame's had an extraordinary penchant for collecting, Busts paintings, frescoes, archways, pillars from all over the world, an astounding collection, entrance is free. An astounding house, a must visit.
