Crafers Historic Hotel has been totally renovated, modernised, a new kitchen installed, new amenities, new alfresco area. This has been a major undertaking, which has has taken 12 months or more, but is finally completed. The owner has upgraded the entire hotel a a considerable cost. There is also a new chef, and menu. We had a great lunch from the new menu, salt & pepper squid, perfectly prepared along with excellent service. A great addition for the Adelaide Hills.

Mt Lofty Summit. Cafe and Outlook
This visit is a great experience, there are expansive views of Adelaide out to the gulf. The cafe is comfortable with seating inside and outside. The Cafe menu is quite extensive with good food options available. The service even though at times busy are good. Great place to bring overseas visitors. We enjoyed our coffee and lunch.
Aldgate Pump Hotel
Historic country Hotel in charming Aldgate Village." The Aldgate Pump Hotel, is named after a water well in the main street opposite the hotel. Installed by the then proprietor in 1864. The Aldgate Pump Hotel has a new proprietor which has made a huge difference. The hotel has had an expensive upgrade, from the kitchen through to their alfresco dining. We enjoyed a coffee with a very nice duck pate, accompanied with fresh made flat bread. The menu has some very nice dishes on offer. We shall return for dinner soon.
