Mocha & Lime Cafe. The best in Healsville.

This Cafe is Situated in what used to be the old Ford Dealership Building. Green St Healsville, Yarra Valley. The conversion has been well thought out. The interior is quiet large, the decor is colorful, arty and rustic. On the large wall at the rear, is a huge range of second hand books, for sale, with a comfortable relaxing area to peruse. We found the range of food available is complimentary. After an absence of 5 years we found the coffee is up there with the best, smooth and relaxing to drink. The Cafe is just off the Main Street but well worth the walk around the corner. Hope to return sooner this time.

Top Paddock Cafe Richmond Melbourne VIC

Top Paddock Cafe. Richmond Melbourne Vic, was well worth the effort to drive across the city traffic. If a cow or a horse could talk, your question to them  “where are the best places on the farm for you”?. There answer would probably be the “Top Paddock” For a coffee cafe  connoisseur the “Top Paddock” could well be there answer. They roast there own coffee, which is smooth with a lingering pleasant after taste. After reading the free news paper we ordered and enjoyed a second coffee. We found the table service was the best. The lunch we ate was fresh, filling and tasty. The cafe was very busy, but the staff found for us a quite comfortable table. No free Wifi, but the word is it is on the way.

A French Cafe in Lilydale Victoria

L’Auberge Cafe Lilydale inhabits a tiny former church, full of charm, decorated in French Rustic Style. Wooden floors, stained glass windows and exposed rafters delight, while upstairs is a gallery on three sides, over looking the Cafe below. Seating consists of sofa’s, comfortable chairs and original church pews all adding to the eclectic charm. A glass cabinet at the counter displays a delicious display of French cakes and pastries and a good menu is available. Another chapel and a function room complete the facilities. The coffee was excellent as we relaxed in this wonderful Cafe. Will definitely return.

Harvest Kitchen at Artisans of Barossa S.A.

Harvest Kitchen
Cnr Magnolia & Light Pass Roads
Tanunda SA 532

The Artisans Winery is situated on a rise that gives you extensive views of vineyards from the kitchen and verandah. The Harvest Kitchen has an excellent diverse menu. We ordered, bread, the Harvest Sourdough with butter, a slow cooked Hutton Vale Lamb with millet salad, yoghurt and barberries. Also a 16 hour slow braised pork empanadas with house made relish. Excellent choices, well prepared meals, that were served promptly, by a very professional waitress. This venue is very popular, as we had booking which was necessary. After our wonderful dinner we relaxed, with some wine tasting, enjoying the expansive views.
